Hey Y’all!
I’m Kara, the artist and instructor behind Dandelion Art Studio.
Dandelion Art Studio was founded out of a genuine love for creativity and connection, along with the belief that art should be inviting and accessible to everyone, not intimidating. My background is in child development and psychology, and over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with children and families in educational, creative, and community-focused environments. These experiences helped shape the heart of this studio: a welcoming space where people can explore art at their own pace, build confidence, and create special, lasting memories together.
At Dandelion Art Studio, we truly value the process just as much as the final piece. Our classes are designed to be flexible, welcoming, and accessible to people of all ages, skill levels, and learning styles. Whether we’re painting flowers, building sculptures, exploring mixed media, or creating side-by-side as families, our goal is never perfection; it’s about expression, discovery, and connection.
Working with me often feels more like joining a friendly, creative gathering rather than a formal art lesson. I guide you through projects step-by-step, while still leaving plenty of space for your individual style and personality to shine. Participants are encouraged to experiment, ask questions, make adjustments, and truly make each project their own. No two finished pieces are ever exactly alike, and that’s part of what makes it special
Thank you so much for being here and supporting this growing little studio. I can’t wait to create with you!.
